I offer standard, substantive, and developmental editing services; interior book design, typesetting, and cover design; and e-book conversion and formatting services. In conjunction with my small, highly experienced team, I also provide ghostwriting services, particularly for memoirs and novels based on memoirs (for those who prefer that their story be told as a work of fiction). We want to help you write and publish your story professionally, yet in your unique way. Please contact me at jill@suneditwrite.com.

I have worked on many award-winning books. (Awards include Writer's Digest, Benjamin Franklin, Foreword Magazine, New York Book Festival, National Best Books, Creative Child Magazine, and Next Generation Indie, to name a few).

Clients include the American Cancer Society, Moody Publishers, Guernica Editions (Canada), John Catt Educational Ltd. (UK), Dolce Publishing, Pleasant St. Press (children's books). Books that I edited and/or designed have been accepted for publication by Harper Collins, North Atlantic Publishing, John Catt Educational, and other publishing houses.

I work with publishers, self-publishers and writers who are preparing manuscripts for publication. I coach self-publishers, helping them to avoid pitfalls and find the best service providers for their needs, such as illustrators, printers and marketing specialists. Genres include nonfiction, fiction, children's books (including rhyme) and manuals.

My own book, "10 Steps to Publish & Succeed: How to Put Your Best Book Forward," won First Place in the Writer's Digest 22nd Annual Self-Published Book Awards, 2014. Available from http://amzn.to/181g7Vk and book sellers everywhere.

I have been a presenter on Editing and Book Design at the Muse Online Writers Conference in 2009 and 2010, and at the Savvy Authors Writers Seminars in 2010. For four years, I was the editor-in-chief of "The Blue Review," an e-zine for children's writers, available by subscription. I have been a judge in writing competitions and was interviewed on the subject, "Editing, Book Design and Writing for Children" on The Writing Show, as well as on several Internet radio shows for writers and self-publishers.
